The Association of Diabetics of Eagles (ADIA) has celebrated this weekend the Sweets and Past Sugar Free Contest;
An event with which from the association intend to demonstrate that "diabetic people can enjoy tasty desserts made without sugar," said Yolanda Gallego, president of the association.
The fourth edition of this contest presented the novelty of having a children's category.
It should be noted that the contest registered a very high level which made the jury very difficult, composed by the mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno;
The mayor of Sanidad, Rosalía Casado;
The mayor of Festejos, Encarnación Navarro;
And the president of Hosteaguilas, Vicente Sánchez, to choose the winners.
Finally in adult category the best presentation was for tangerine flan while the cappuccino cake and the pan de calatrava resulted in the most delicious desserts.
In the children's category the results were:
Fantasy: Cupcakes.
Originality: Fantastic balls.
Creativity: Meringue milk flan.
Colored: Basket merenguitos.
