Seventeen are the years that the members of the workshop of paper suits have surprised aquiline and visitors with their spectacular creations;
An art that every year is increasing, as was evident yesterday in the Competition of Paper Suits and Body Makeup.
The event, hosted by Antonio Hidalgo and Marta Pérez, took place in the Auditorium and Conference Center Infanta Elena Doña and started with the magnificent performance of the batucada D'Akokan, of the TeyDe School, as well as with the rhythms of the Official Ballet of The Federation of Peñas.
On this occasion, a total of four designs were on stage, accompanied by a staging, directed by Juan María Soler, at the height of a Carnival declared of International Tourist Interest: Renaissance, with the sponsorship of Estrella de Levante ;
Sol Naciente, by Sonique;
Allegory of the fire sponsored by Land Rover and Tides Mysterious, sponsored by Carrefour, that managed to rise with the first prize of the contest after the hard deliberation of the members of the jury composed by the mayor of Eagles, Mari Carmen Moreno;
The mayor of Carnival, Vicente Ruiz;
The president of the Peñas Federation, José Alonso;
And the adult and children characters of the Carnival.
In the form of body makeup was the magnificent work of Cristel Van Den of Make Up Studio, Enia, which won the first prize, followed by From the Depths and The Dragon Warrior.
