The project for Águilas and the entire Health Area III to have a High Resolution Hospital Center (CHAR) could be tendered before the end of March.
This was announced at a joint press conference by Cs regional spokesman Miguel Sánchez, national formation deputy José Luis Martínez and Economic Development Minister Juan Hernández.
"We see how this historic reinvindication of the aquiline is closer to fulfilling," said Sanchez, who stressed that CHAR "was the first requirement and condition" Cs put on the table to support regional budgets, which allocate half a million euros For the writing this year of the project.
"Being here together making this announcement is what you believe will be fulfilled because there is political will to carry it out," said the Orange spokesman.
"It is a matter of justice and a need both for Eagles and Health Area III, due to both the need for health care in the summer and its demographic growth," said Deputy José Luis Martínez.
"In addition to creating employment, the CHAR would form a pole of economic development," he said.
Although the final wording of the project will be the one that defines the characteristics of the center, Cs considers that it should have at least one short-stay hospitalization area, operating rooms for minor surgeries and ambulatory surgeries, 24-hour emergency service and analysis laboratories.
"The CHAR is a scalable infrastructure, which means that it must have the capacity to grow in the future, adapting to the demand," said Francisco Martínez, responsible for Cs' Political Action in Eagles.
