The Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users Virgen de los Dolores has organized the first edition of the Women's Day Awards;
An event organized on the occasion of the recent celebration of Women's Day which, said the President of the Housewives, Catalina Garcia, "seeks to recognize women who for different reasons have excelled in different areas of society."
The event, which was held in the framework of a meal attended by more than a hundred associates, has served to recognize, in this first edition:
Mari Carmen Moreno for being the first mayor of Aguilas.
The group Much to Live (of the Spanish Association Against Cancer) for being an example of daily struggle and overcoming.
Paca Albarracín in recognition of his important work within the association aquiline.
