The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed the operation 'RELAMAGAGO', an investigation aimed at clarifying the offer of ammunition warfare over the Internet, which has resulted in the arrest in Águilas of two people as alleged perpetrators of crime Illicit possession of ammunition.
This is the administrator of the advertisement and the person who sold two anti-aircraft missiles to this one.
The investigation began when agents of the Benemérita detected the offer, through a well-known Internet portal, of ammunition considered of war and that, therefore, its commercialization is not authorized.
After conducting a detailed study and analysis of the publication, the civil guards were able to fully identify the person responsible for this announcement, in the case of a young man, of Spanish nationality and resident in the municipality of Águilas.
The first investigations carried out and the in-depth analysis of the contents of the advertisement revealed that the objects offered in the publication were two 35 mm caliber anti-aircraft missiles whose mere possession would already constitute an offense of illicit possession of ammunition war.
Last Tuesday, March 21, the civil guards arranged an interview with the ad manager and confirmed the initial suspicions.
The meeting took place on the outskirts of the local aquiline and the suspect came to the same together with the two antiaircraft projectiles offered on the Internet, and proceeded to his arrest as alleged perpetrator of illicit possession of ammunition.
The two war shells seized were in perfect state of preservation and ready to be used, in the case of explosive anti-aircraft ammunition.
The investigation has also made it possible to identify, locate, and detain the person who had provided the ammunition of war to the administrator of the Internet advertisement.
Those arrested were a man and a woman, aged 36 and 62 respectively and residents of Águilas, the effects seized and investigations were made available to the Court of Instruction number 6 of Lorca (Murcia).
