A total of 36 participants took part last Sunday in the first route of the Railroad in English;
An initiative launched by the Department of Tourism of the City of Eagles in order to meet the demands of English-speaking tourism.
The route, departing from the Railway Monument on a tourist train, proceeded along Paseo de Parra to stop at the Railway Station and Museum.
There the participants were able to enjoy the architectural style of the building and discover interesting aspects related to the railroad linking Águilas con Baza, constructed by "The Great Southern of Spain railway", and of the funds of the museum, located in what was archived and Company safe.
Continue along Calle Aire until you reach the beach of Los Cocedores del Hornillo, from where you can contemplate a panoramic view of the Embarcadero del Hornillo.
The route continued until the Tunnel of Discharge, in which they received information on its operation, history and anecdotes of its useful life;
Ending at the panoramic viewpoint.
The next activity in English, will take place on Sunday, June 25, and will consist of a Route through the Historic Center of Eagles.
