About 30 students of Sanitary Transport and Assistance to Multiple Victims have traveled from the neighboring city to know the work of the organization.
The students, who are taking certificates of professionalism in Sanitary Transport and Care for Multiple Victims and Disasters, moved from the neighboring city of Lorca to the coastal municipality to check first hand the work carried out by professionals and volunteers of the Spanish Red Cross in Eagles.
The visit is part of the parallel activities developed by the Integrated Center for Vocational Training in Lorca to complement the training of its students and provide them with quality teaching.
For about two hours, the students visited the facilities of CRE in the city and the different programs active in the municipality.
The ambulance of Basic Life Support, agreed in Socio-Sanitary Transport with the city council, the different Vehicles of Rapid Intervention and Social Intervention, the equipment of Salvamento Martimo that is developed with the Ministry of Development in the boat LS Titania and to finalize the last one Project of Red Cross, the Canine Rescue Unit in Collapsed Structures and Collapses whose group counts today with 10 volunteers between Guides and Auxiliaries and about 6 animals, some of them already trained and others in the way of instruction.
At the end of the day, future technicians approached the CEIS Fire Station where the staff of Guardia showed them the rescue material and disincarceration, as well as the different vehicles and their characteristics.
