The City Council has recently received 72 new niches that have been built in the cemetery of Eagles and that add up to the 120 that were received last year.
The work, which has meant a total investment of 15,600 euros, seeks, as the mayor of the area, Isabel Fernández, said, "to alleviate the deficit of space that the cemetery presented"

So much so that the savings of the two modules built in the past 2016 has allowed to run the latter that has recently been received.
It should be noted that this improvement is not the only attack in recent months in the local cemetery.
In addition to the increase in graves, the so-called Rehabilitation Project of the Municipal Cemetery of the Dolores de Águilas has been developed with the purpose, in addition to its own action in the cemetery, of the labor insertion of unemployed persons through their professional qualification in alternation with the Effective work and in which a total of twenty-eight people between 25 and 54 years of age who were unemployed participated.
In particular, some of the actions that have already been carried out, and which have served to significantly improve the appearance of the aquiline cemetery, have consisted of the repair and cleaning of the decks, as well as the rehabilitation of some 600 niches that were In very bad condition;
An action has been developed in the way of access to the cemetery and also in the interior and exterior walls completing with an integral rehabilitation of the exterior facade;
The drainage system has also been improved in order to repel moisture in the ossuary area and all the elements that were broken in both the autopsy room and the concierge office have been replaced.
