The new office of the Tax Agency in Águilas will manage 66,000 annual receipts (03/04/2017)

Citizens can make a personalized payment plan of up to 12 months without interest

The Ministry of Finance and Public Administration, through the Tax Agency of the Region of Murcia, has an agreement with the City of guilas, which delegates the management, liquidation, inspection and collection of taxes and revenues of public law (IBE), the Tax on Economic Activities (IAE), the Tax on Mechanical Traction Vehicles and the Increase in the Value of Land of Urban Nature, known as surplus value.

The estimated receipts, according to the standards, of the first three taxes to be managed for Eagles, amounted to 66,000 and an amount of 12.20 million euros.

This agreement means for the Consistory a cost savings and have specialized technical staff at your service.

Through this agreement, the City Council receives a monthly advance of 90 percent of the collection, thus obtaining liquidity to provide their services.

In 2017, the council will receive a total of 6.84 million euros.

The head of the Treasury highlighted the "strong will of the regional government to support the local administration, providing material, human and financial resources of the Community that allow improving the management and tax collection of municipalities."

Currently, the Regional Tax Agency has signed agreements with 62 public entities, of which 32 are city councils.

Deferred payments

On the other hand, the Agency facilitates the citizens to establish a personalized plan that allows to defer payments up to 12 months without interest.

In addition, citizens do not have to travel to carry out any procedure in those municipalities in which the agency has an agreement.

The Regional Tax Agency currently has a network of 29 offices spread throughout the Region, in which a comprehensive tax service is provided, so that any neighbor can make their arrangements in any of the offices in the same way as would be done in their municipality.

The services that will be provided are those related to local taxes managed;

Related to the cadastral management and services related to the ceded (state) taxes managed by the Community.

In addition, the Agency makes available to the city council and citizens the Virtual Office, with the possibility of performing telematic management services.

Taxpayers may make payments through the Internet and carry out telematic procedures related to collection management, such as postponements and splits or requests for information, among others.
