The mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the Councilor for Finance, Tomás Consentino, visited this morning together with the Minister of Finance and Public Administration, Andrés Carrillo, the office recently opened by the Tax Agency in the locality under the agreement Signed between the consistory aquiline and the Counseling;
"The opening of this office in the town is a two-way benefit for citizens, on the one hand, has allowed the regional administration to approach Aguilas avoiding having to move to Lorca as it has been happening until now and, on the other hand, offers Taxpayers have the opportunity to pay their bills in several installments (up to twelve months) without any interest due to delays. Two aspects, namely, to bring the administration closer to citizens and to make it easier for citizens to pay their bills. Tributes, which were two commitments of this Government Team, "said Moreno.
The agreement between the City and the Tax Agency involves the delegation by the City Council of the management, liquidation, inspection and collection of taxes and revenues under public law, such as Property Tax (IBI), Tax on Activities (IAE), the Tax on Mechanical Traction Vehicles and the Increase in the Value of Land of Urban Nature, known as surplus value.
This agreement means for the Consistory a cost savings and have specialized technical staff at your service.
Through this agreement, the City Council receives a monthly advance of 90 percent of the collection, thus obtaining liquidity to provide their services.
In 2017, the City Hall will receive a total of 6.84 million euros.
