The church of San José was the setting for the thirteenth edition of the Saeta Villa de Águilas Exaltation which, every year, coinciding with Easter Week, organizes the Tradition and Folklore association under the direction of Félix Cano , In collaboration with the Department of Culture.
The saoters Aroa Palomo and Juan Pinilla, the latter in charge of singing the lyrics of the minors of Passion of Francisco Paredes, accompanied by the guitar of Antonio Muñoz, obtained the unanimous applause of the public, among which were the mayor of Aguilas, Maria Carmen Moreno, and the ediles of Culture, Finance and Citizen Participation, Lucía Hernández, Tomás Consentino and Luis López;
The president of the Cabildo, Sebastián Muñoz;
The preacher of Holy Week, Juanjo Berenguer;
And numerous representatives of guilds of the locality.
