The hospitality sector of the town has shown its satisfaction with the results obtained this Easter which, said the Tourism Minister, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, "have significantly exceeded the forecasts."
According to the survey carried out, hotel accommodations recorded 95.5% of occupancy during Holy Week, reaching peaks of 100% in specific days and also hanging four aquiline hotels, the poster of full Thursday nights , Friday and Saturday Saints.
"They are really positive data since, although the percentage of occupation has been the same as last year, the actual number of visitors has been much greater because we have two new hotels in the town that last year, the Semana Santa, were closed, specifically the Eagles Beach and the Eagles Resort, "said Navarro.
The increase in tourist promotion, coupled with interest in processions and the appeal of the sun and beach are the elements that, for the mayor of Tourism, have been key in the good data obtained in these recent festivals.
