The students of Primary Education of all schools in the town participated this morning in an act of homage to the writer Gloria Fuertes, organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Eagles to celebrate the Day of the Book.

A total of eighty boys and girls from each of the Primary courses have recited poems by the writer when the centenary of her birth is completed.

The mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the ediles of Culture and Education, Lucía Hernández and Vicente Ruiz, have attended this recital, which ended with the delivery of a batch of books for the different participating centers and a book by Gloria Fuertes for the Children who have read the poems.
