The mayor of Aguilas, María del Carmen Moreno, together with the General Director of Transport, Coast and Ports, Salvador García-Ayllón and the general director of the port, Juan Francisco Montiel, presented the activities.
The nautical fair will take place at Puerto Deportivo Juan Montiel between 8 and 11 June, coinciding with the celebration at Marina Day 2017, an event organized by the Spanish Federation of Associations of Sports and Tourist Ports.
It is expected that the attendance of about 50 exhibitors with boats, nautical equipment, engines, watercraft, nautical sports equipment, equipment, as well as vehicles destined to leisure activities such as caravans and cars.
Among the novelties of this edition is the marketing of port moorings, which has a total of 356 moorings.
Activities include activities for children such as diving baptism and kayaking and sailing, as well as activities for adults such as talks and presentations related to the nautical world.
During the four days that lasts the fair is expected a large influx of public to coincide with the Bridge Region.
Moreno said that "this fair is a very positive initiative for both the marina and the municipality, as nautical tourism is booming and will attract many visitors to the town of Aguilas."
