One more year at CEIP LAS LOMAS, on the occasion of the International Book Day, the traditional "Cultural Week" has been celebrated.
Throughout the first and second trimesters the students have carried out research on the center of interest: "Eagles our town" All this has given rise to an exhibition of works in the library and in the Primary and Children's Hall such as :
Plastic works related to the subject.
Exhibition of stories and separators made by students to participate in the contest that is convened from the center itself.
Biographies of illustrious personages of the locality
Exhibitions formed by a compendium of the works elaborated by each group.
Travel books that collect the most emblematic monuments of the locality ....
At the entrance to the center has been recreated our emblematic "Pava de la Balsa" which receives majestically all visitors
Also throughout the week in the hall of the center have been performed theatrical performances, songs, dances and a recital of poetry on the book "From my four corners" of aquiline "Paco the winery"
As a closure to all these activities, the mayor of Águilas, accompanied by the mayor of Urbanism and the Director of the Center, have given prizes as they have been to the best stories, to the reader, and to better works of art.
Moreno has addressed the students by stating that "thanks to this cultural week held in the center, have been able to know the history of our town and its research work."
