The aquiline hamlet of Calabardina celebrated this weekend its traditional feasts of the Cross of May;
An event that brought together a large number of attendees who did not want to miss the extensive party program that started on Friday with the meeting of gangs in which took part the groupings of Cuesta de Gos and Marina and the performance of the group Flamenco Compás .
Musical performances continued on Saturday with Grupo Jema, singer María Rubio and comedian Larry, in charge of softening the traditional sardine, in which all the attendees could taste this rich product of the coast aquiline.
Already yesterday, the mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, along with the pedantic mayor of Calabardina, Félix Gallego, and other members of the municipal corporation, were in charge of presiding a day that awoke with the sound of the Musical Grouping Virgin of the Dolores and with the celebration of a mass in honor to the Virgin of the Carmen and the Cross of May.
After the religious act began a beautiful procession with the bay and the jetty as a backdrop in which the patron saint of fishermen was carried shoulder by the streets of this aquiline enclave.
