At the request of the command of the National Police Corps in Lorca, Monitors of the Training Department of the Spanish Red Cross in Eagles have approached for several days this week to the facilities that the security body has in the neighboring city of Lorca.
Convinced that First Aid training saves lives, especially for those involved in carrying out their work on public roads, guaranteeing the safety of citizens, as in the case of the National Police, CRE trainers in Águilas have given several workshops Lung Cardio Resuscitation, Maneuvers to Solve Foreign Body Airway Obstructions (OVACE) and PAS (Protect, Alert and Relieve) the agents.
This last workshop was specially adapted to the situations that CNP staff live in their daily work, allowing them to help citizens and at the same time to learn the risks of acting on public roads and to use the means of fortune within their reach.
Nearly 50 people have learned the techniques that can increase the prognosis of survival of those affected until the arrival of the toilets.
