The mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the edil of Education, Vicente Ruiz, have made a round of visits to all public schools in the town to check the maintenance needs presented by the centers.
As regards the activities that take place during the summer months, taking advantage of the absence of children in the classrooms, municipal competences go through the maintenance of these centers, while the larger actions depend directly on the Ministry of Education of the Region of Murcia.
The purpose of these visits, said the councilman, is to carry out a follow-up and, in coordination with the management teams, establish an order of actions according to the priorities of each center.
In the same vein, it should be remembered that the Consistory also covers the daily maintenance of public schools in the town;
A service that - most of the directors of the educational centers agreed - has improved considerably since the entrance of the new City of Aguilas' incident portal, thanks to which the response time to any problem has been significantly shortened.
