Águilas is again excluded in the second call to qualify for European funds under the Integrated Sustainable Urban Development Strategy (EDUSI) for "not having enough score".
According to the Official State Gazette (BOE) on Monday, the initiative presented by the City Council of Eagles called 'sustainable city' will not receive even one euro of European funds.
The Municipal People's Group shows their discomfort because this second project was presented without informing them of anything, when they had made a plea to the Plenary to collaborate and to be approved with greater political support.
They criticize the lack of transparency of the mayor in this project which has not been given participation to the opposition, always ignoring the changes introduced in this second attempt.
The selected EDUSI will be developed over several years, through a co-financing of ERDF funds and municipal entities, within the European Sustainable Growth 2014-2020 plan.
Once again the City Council of Eagles lost a major train, which is a severe setback for the investment program that our City Council had planned for the next few years.
