The JEA student association has held a meeting with all political groups in the town, except for the Government team (PSOE and IU), who have refused to receive them.
During the meetings JEA has found the support of the three political parties at the municipal level We, Citizens and PP.
The reason for the meeting was to find a solution to the project that was presented one year ago to open the municipal library on weekends and extend its schedule in time of exams.
The issue was discussed with the municipal team, which turned a deaf ear to the requests of the young people.
JEA after the refusal of the City Council has decided to seek support in the rest of municipal parties.
They have presented to the three a commitment which they have accepted in order to make these educational improvements.
The young aquiline have shown their displeasure with the City Council chaired by Mari Carmen Moreno because of its refusal to open the library on weekends and extend its schedule in the face of the final exams that have been carried out for a few weeks.
To this is added the students that finish the studies of 2 ° of baccalaureate and that in June they face the test EBAU, the university students and all those who are preparing the oppositions.
The president of JEA, Antonio Landáburu, has expressed his discontent with this decision and with the treatment received by Consistorio Aquilile.
Landáburu affirmed that "we only transmit the complaints and petitions of the young aquiline, our discontent is a mere reflection of what is seen in the youth".
They affirm from the youth organization that they will not give up with this project, being a necessity for aquiline students;
"We are committed to this project," concluded the president.
