The flamenco artist Carlos Piñana will present in Águilas next Friday his show From the root to the soul;
A work in which Piñana, as the flamenco critic Norberto Torres says, "articulates the lyricism and the modulations of his own that define his style and make it different and personal, a style, his style, between flamenco and classical guitar" .
The concert, to be held in the Auditorium and Congress Center Infanta Doña Elena, is sponsored by the Cajamurcia Foundation, the City of Eagles and the Association of Friends of the Culture of Eagles and its full collection will be destined to the NGO aquiline Bethany Home.
During the presentation ceremony, held recently at the town hall, Piñana himself emphasized that "artists of any discipline, we have a social commitment that we must always face."
Piñana, who will be accompanied by a cantaor, will offer a repertoire of six pieces based on traditional sticks such as soleá, taranta, bujería or fandango.
Tickets can be purchased at the offices of BMN Cajamurcia, Droguería Santamaria, Archaeological Museum, Emilia Gil Pharmacy, Ideal Boutique, Estética Eva, The corner of the meat, Pharmacy Bayona, Lingerie Évora and at the Auditorium box office one hour before the concert (Tickets will only go on sale 60 tickets).
