The mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, has been very pleased with the announcement published in the Official State Gazette regarding the tender for the award of a study detail on the project of integral regeneration of the beach of La Cola by value of EUR 52,599.

In this regard, Moreno recalled that last March, at a meeting held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries with the general director of Coastal and Marine Sustainability, Raquel Orts, which was also attended by the then counselor Water, Agriculture and Environment, Adela Martínez Cacha, has already requested the Ministry to develop this study to solve the problems that affect this beach.

The first aquiline mayor assured that "this study is the first step to be able to develop a regeneration action on the beach, a demand that we have been doing since the Government Team since our arrival at the City of Eagles."
