Águilas will become the headquarters of the new project of Attention and Promotion of the Personal Autonomy of People with Intellectual Disabilities that Fundown will launch next September and which will benefit the municipalities of Aguilas, Puerto Lumbreras and Mazarrón.
The project, which was selected from the more than 600 that were presented to the call More Employment of the Foundation La Caixa financed by the European Social Fund, was presented this morning in the City of Eagles in the course of an act in which In addition to representatives of associations and educational centers in the town, the mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno;

"The objective is to facilitate the integration in the ordinary labor market of people with intellectual disabilities, developing an exhaustive process of intermediation, labor orientation and individual care under the methodology of employment with support," said Martínez.
The mayor of Aguilas has been very pleased that Fundown has chosen Águilas as a place to develop this important project of social inclusion for people with disabilities.
In this line, Moreno has offered to the foundation Murcia all the collaboration that is necessary on the part of the City council.
