The mayor of Companies Service Providers, Isabel Fernandez, visited this morning the various actions carried out on the Paseo de Poniente, included in the Plan for Improvement of Squares and Gardens set up by the City of Eagles.
Fernández stressed that the main actions carried out include the replacement of more than two hundred slabs of the walk, which were in poor condition, as well as the installation of 35 stone benches decorated with a ceramic eagle shield.
In the same way an important performance has been carried out in the Plaza Fernando Rey, reconverted, thanks to the endowment of different gerontogimnasia devices, in an outdoor gymnasium.
"In particular," Fernández pointed out, "a circuit of machines for recreational and healthy use has been set up to encourage outdoor sports. The bio-healthy space is equipped with four machines that allow working skills such as strength, flexibility or balance".
Continuing with the improvement actions on the promenade of Poniente, in response to the demands of the neighbors of the area, have begun the actions in the green zone located next to the rambla of Cañarete.
According to the mayor explained the actions will consist in the conversion of the different sources that were in disuse in garden areas equipped with playgrounds and rest areas.
