The mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Urbanism, Tomás Consentino, delivered yesterday to the secretary general of Presidency, Yolanda Muñoz, of the General Urban Plan, after its provisional approval in the course of an Extraordinary Plenary held on Last June.
From now on, Moreno said, "it only remains to be expected that the Ministry will act with the greatest speed to give final approval to a document very necessary for Eagles since, among other things, it will provide the legal security necessary for our farmers, Entrepreneurs and potential investors to develop their activities. "
In the same line, the first aquiline mayor remembered that they have been more than twelve years that the PGOU has been stuck in the City council of Eagles.
"One of our commitments was to expedite this situation and it has been done."
On this matter Moreno wanted to thank "all the municipal officials who have worked on it during these years and, especially, those who in the last months have dedicated themselves exclusively to be able to take it forward."
Among the main modifications included in the PGOU is the recovery of the delimitation of Protected Natural Space for Cope Marina, according to the ruling issued by the Constitutional Court;
The expansion of industrial land that is quintupled in relation to the current situation;
Or the extension of the municipal cemetery.
