The documentary 'Seda and esparto in the Region of Murcia', produced by the Integra Foundation of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration, participates in the 'II national meeting on esparto culture' held tomorrow and Monday in Águilas.
Juan José Almela, general director of Heritage, Informatics and Telecommunications, said that "the participation of the documentary in this national meeting is further proof of the rigor and quality of the Integra Foundation's productions, and that culture must be spread Esparto and silk as one of our native traditions.
The documentary lasts 50 minutes and is divided into six chapters that dramatize the origin and evolution of the silk and esparto industries in the Region, its main activities and the daily aspects of those who dedicated their lives to these activities.
In order to make a documentary amusing and appealing to all audiences, a fictional plot and costumbristas recreations were made in which 11 actors and 57 extras participated.
To improve the quality of the contents, resources such as infographics, drones, cranes and 4k cameras, which have given almost a film result.
In addition, for the recreations of the documentary was counted on the advice of experts in these matters and with the collaboration of the Museum of Esparto de Cieza and Peña Huertana the Seda of Murcia.

A heritage of cinema in Águilas
