The mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, together with the Director General of Heritage, Information Technology and Telecommunications, Juan Jos Almela, and other members of the Government Team attended yesterday the screening of the documentary 'Seda and Esparto in the Region of Murcia' included Of the free activity 'A patrimony of cinema' that from yesterday and during all the day of today it is developed in the Walk of the Colony of Eagles.
This initiative, which runs this summer the regional beaches, consists of a traveling tent that houses games with virtual reality glasses on the region's heritage and a cinema area where documentaries on regional heritage will be uninterrupted.
The documentary 'Seda and esparto' is a fictional documentary series that consists of six chapters that allow to know the history and the highlights of these two traditional activities of the Region of Murcia.
In addition to this feature film, other short films on the posidonia, the railway system, the tower houses of the Region, the defensive naval system of the Austrias and the Monastery of Santa Ana will also be screened in the summer cinema area.
The initiative is completed by a tent of more than 24 square meters, which has a virtual reality area in which visitors will have two game options, 'The Mystery of Ricote Encomienda' that, through tests, Gives to know the architecture of the building of the Encomienda and its function as headquarters of the Order of Santiago, since its construction in the XV century;
