The Auditorium and Congress Center Infanta Doña Elena will host next September 2 the XXXI Regional Championship and XIV National Open Pedro J. Villa of Physioculturism organized by the Federation of Muscular Bodybuilding and Fitness.

"A sports event that is expected to attract Aguilas to about 200 participants and just over 1,000 people," said the mayor of Sports, Cristóbal Casado.

Pedro Villa, president of the Federation Murciana, and Ceferino Fernández, judge of competition, emphasized that "the championship is one of the most acclaimed in this sports modality as it contemplates cash prizes of more than 5,000 euros."

Along the same lines, Villa and Fernandez agreed on the importance of "bringing this minority sport to the public".
