Águilas has become during this weekend in the shooting stage of the short film "Uno", directed by Javier Marco and starring actor Pedro Casablanc, which narrates the drama of the refugee crisis that cost the life to more than 5,000 people in the Mediterranean last year.

The presentation of the shooting of the film, to be released next October at the nineteenth edition of the Albacete International Film Festival, was attended by the mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Tourism, Ginés Desiderio Navarro.

The "Uno" short film project is the winner of the V Amnesty International-Abycine 2017 Short Film Competition.
