This past Sunday, September 3, the II Phase of the Beach Cover Plan 2017, which began last July 1st, ended in the municipality of Aguilas.
62 days that have had permanent surveillance of the Spanish Red Cross Rescue in the city in the 14 First Aid, Surveillance and Security Posts and closed with a successful results.
Emphasize that the efficiency and speed in the 7 rescues of boats and 78 of bathers that have been carried out in this period, have managed not to regret any deceased by Immersion Syndrome and only two transfers to the Hospital Rafael Méndez de Lorca for mild water intake, one in July and another in August, for complementary medical tests.
A very important reduction of rescues compared to the figures of the previous year, where 115 interventions of this type were carried out and that is a consequence of the preventive measures of the terrestrial device and to vessels taken with the objective of minimizing risks and avoiding situations of danger for users and ships that are derived in emergencies or emergencies.
As a sample of the 357 interventions carried out in this section, 67 bathers outside the bathing area were thoroughly monitored, 72 boats were warned to leave the area to ensure security of aquiline and visitors and it has been brought to the attention of the security forces that 84 users were in zone of rocks or piers and to remove 32 dangerous objects of the beaches.
A constant prevention effort during the monitoring schedule of the Copla Plan that has been fructified in the reduction of attendances in all the sections.
The only increase in interventions compared to the previous year corresponds to the Adapted Bathroom for Users with Disabilities, which in 2017 totals 554 by 501 in 2016, making the municipality a reference in our Community within the Accessible Beaches Program.
These two months, the Red Cross Rescue in Eagles attached to the Plan Copla of the City Council have carried out in the First Aid Posts located on the beaches a total of 1,663 health care of various kinds.
From today Monday until next Sunday, September 17, which is being held, Phase III will only have permanent monitoring of Aquatic Rescue of CRE in Aguilas the beaches of Las Delicias II, La Colonia and Calarreona during the usual hours of 11 to 19 hours.
