The Nautical Club of Eagles invited last Sunday, September 3, members of the Association of Relatives and People with Mental Illness of Eagles and Shire to a day of navigation.
Water sports offer a safe and special alternative with which to try to diversify the care activities to people with mental illness and their families, improving the integration and acceptance in the day to day.
The students of the Middle Degree of Sports Technician, who these days are taught at the Nautical Club Educational Center, supervised the practices of the members of AFEMAC on board sailing and kayak boats.
The meteorology was perfect to realize the experience for both the monitors and the students, taking advantage to make a trip to the Bay of the Island of the Fraile.
