The mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, together with the director of the Mediterranean school, Antonio Licerán, and the president of the AMPA of the center have maintained this morning in the Ministry of Education an emergency meeting, requested by the first aquiline edile, in which including, among others, the Minister of Education, Adela Martínez Cacha, and the General Director of Educational Centers, Remedios Lajara.

The reason for the meeting was to reiterate to the Ministry the need to act urgently in the Mediterranean school, a center whose deficiencies have been markedly worse after the last rains.

During the meeting, both the first aquiline mayor and the director of the center and the director of the AMPA have transmitted to the counselor the concern of the parents about the imminent incorporation of their children to a school that they have assured from the AMPA- "we do not know if it meets the minimum safety conditions for students. "

The meeting was considered very positive to have obtained the commitment of the counselor so that tomorrow Wednesday the technicians of the Counseling will move to Aguilas to make a study of the facilities.
