The "Segura", "Sella", "Tambre" and "Turia" cazaminas, who were conducting exercises to detect and neutralize explosive devices in the waters of Mazarrón and Águilas, stopped at the port of Aguilas on 16 and 17 September.
During their stay, the cazaminas conducted open days that consisted of a tour of different compartments of the ships, where they explained the equipment used, the missions entrusted and the way of working of these ships.
Likewise, at sundown on Saturday, a solemn flagging ceremony was held on board the units chaired by the Commander of the Contraminas Measurements Force, Captain Rafael Arcos Palacios and the first deputy mayor, Vicente Ruiz, representing the highest municipal authority, accompanied by members of the corporation and which also enjoyed a large audience attending from the pier of the fishing port.
Also, part of the crew of the ships, could enjoy a guided tour of the most emblematic places of the town.
