In the afternoon of yesterday, a meeting took place between the Minister of Education, Adela Martínez-Cachá and Cristóbal Casado, Councilor of the City Council of Águilas, accompanied by the director of CEIP Mediterráneo, Antonio Licerán and the president of the AMPA, José Manuel Rodríguez, in which was presented in the first person by the counselor, the commitment of imminent solution to the problems presented by the facilities of the CEIP Mediterráneo.
"We are working on the administrative procedures to initiate the actions of the necessary arrangements in said educational center," said Martínez-Cachá, whose response by Casado and representatives of the school was very positive.
"The objective is and has always been the arrangement of the flaws in the Mediterranean CEIP and leave this meeting with the firm commitment on the part of the counselor and the schedule of actions, satisfies us," said Casado.
This schedule of actions presents the imminent works of waterproofing of the affected roofs of the building, repair of the downstream junction of the deck, revision and repair of leaks of toilets in toilets and removal of humidities;
presenting also other works such as accessibility to two classrooms of the center, integral reform of toilets and rehabilitation of the facade of the building that are expected to be executed during the fiscal year of next year.
