The mayor of Health of the City of Aguilas, Rosalía Casado, has been very satisfied after the approval in the Regional Assembly, with the votes in favor of PSOE, Citizens and We can and the abstention of the PP, of the motion for the extension of the service of Emergency during the 24 hours in the health centers of the municipality.
"This service is currently being provided from 3 in the afternoon to 8 in the morning, something totally insufficient to cover the real needs of Eagles," said the mayor who recalled that "Eagles is still the great forgotten in the sanitary matter of the "Our obligation," Casado continued, "is to continue to demand improvements that we believe are not only just but also necessary, and we will do so."
The implementation of the 24-hour emergency service, which the mayor expected to start imminently, will be a significant improvement for Águilas.
Until now, physicians have to reconcile their Primary Care consultation with the care of patients in the Emergency Room which generates important delays, so that the 24-hour service will guarantee the normal development of the consultations and, therefore, a better care to the patients.
