The board of directors of the Asociación Juventud Estudiantil Aguileña (JEA) has announced through a press release its convening of an ordinary congress to elect president.
Antonio Landáburu, having passed his mandate following the statutes, announced that "the associates are the voice of JEA, they are the ones who will decide, by vote, who will be the new president."
During the mandate of Landáburu, the eagle students' association has carried out numerous educational, social and voluntary activities.
"The line of young aquiline people is to actively participate in improving the aquiline student environment, collaborating with all institutions and other associations, accommodating any young aquiline with concerns," said the president.
"In these two years we have become the leading student association in the municipality. Projects such as the request to open the municipal library on weekends, the preparation of this, building a skate park, volunteering with elderly residents of pensioners of railways, camping with the association of psychic and physical "Juntos para Play", activities for the little ones, to participate in the organization of events directed by both the city council of Águilas and by the government of the Region of Murcia and a long etcetera of projects carried out by the association, "continued Landáburu.
The president has expressed through the JEA statement his admiration for the young members of the association, especially the members of its board of directors for their great work throughout this period.
"I have been fortunate to surround myself with young people committed to youth associationism, wanting to improve Eagles and, of course, to learn."
The date of the ordinary congress will be the next October 13 and the call will be made public through the means of the association (Web and social networks).
