The mayoralty of the City Council of Eagles has been the chosen place for the celebration of a Local Board of Security in which, at the request of the first mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, has been present the delegate of Government in Murcia, Antonio Sánchez-Solís.
The main reason for this meeting - said Moreno - "is to jointly analyze the latest data referring to crime rates in the municipality."
In this sense, the mayor of the town has stated that "it is necessary to work together and coordinated to reduce these indices and in this meeting we have assessed how to do it." Among other actions, the possibility of subscribing a protocol of action through which it is possible for the Local Police to immediately access Civil Guard data, thereby streamlining all procedures and actions. "
The VioGén protocol (Integral System for Monitoring Cases of Gender Violence) has been another issue addressed during the meeting.
On this issue, both the mayor and the delegate of government have agreed to point out "the importance of all efforts aimed at eradicating gender violence and protecting victims."
