The mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, along with the mayor of Health and Social Services, Rosalía Casado, and other members of the Government Team visited yesterday the municipal building of La Loma where since last month the headquarters of four partner associations -sanitary of the locality.
Specifically have been ADIA (Association of Diabetics of Eagles), Águilas Vida Activa, Águilas Down and Asteamur the four associations benefiting from this municipal concession.
"Working to help those who need them most was and is one of our priority objectives," said the first mayor during the visit.
In this sense, the chief of the aquiline government stated that "a good part of the associations that have located their headquarters in this municipal space came from facilities with significant deficiencies that in many cases were making it impossible for them to continue their work."
Likewise, the mayor stressed the fact that having enabled this space has led to "the opening of a headquarters of Asteamur, an association for people with autism spectrum disorder, in our municipality which has meant that a large number of children so far had to move to Lorca or Murcia can receive their therapies here.
The room is equipped with four individual rooms for each of the associations plus a space of multiple uses that can be used by all of them.
