The D14 regional road will be subject to emergency action, including, among other measures, limiting overtaking between kilometers 3 and 6;
the reinforcement of the beaconing in curves with directional panels;
increasing the size of caution and liability signage;
STOP signal placement on all accesses;
the speed limitation at 60 km / h;
the placement of signs warning of the usual presence of cyclists in the area;
and the installation of a traffic light that regulates access to housing estates.
Improvements that have arisen thanks to the presentation by the Socialist Parliamentary Group of a motion last September in which the Murcia socialists asked the Regional Government to build a round that would give access to the Los Collados Zieschang and The Weiss Collados.
Although the Popular Municipal Group has presented an amendment to the totality that supposes the non construction of the mentioned round, from the PSOE they have considered opportune to support said amendment since - assures the mayor of Aguilas and secretary general of the socialists aquiline, Mari Carmen Moreno- "we have knowledge, and the amendment to the totality presented by the popular demonstrates that the Regional Government of the Popular Party does not consider the construction of the much-needed roundabout. That is why we think it necessary to accept an amendment, which arises thanks to the motion presented by the PSOE, that although it is not what we think necessary at least it will mean an improvement for the mentioned section ".
On this matter the first aquiline ruler has stated emphatically that "from the PSOE will continue to claim the Regional Government to build a roundabout access to these developments since we are convinced, as are the neighbors of the area, which is the ideal solution for a stretch in which, due to the circumstances of the same, traffic of vehicles is especially dangerous. "
