The work Waiting for Godot was on Saturday the curtain of the XIV edition of the National Contest of Amateur Theater Paco Rabal.
A contest that highlighted the first aquiline edile "has managed to consolidate within the national circuit of amateur competition and proof of this are the almost 70 works that have been presented to it this year."
The inaugural event, presented by Alonso Paredes and María Piñero, also had the presence of the mayor of Culture, Lucía Hernández, who said that "this contest has two priority objectives: on the one hand keep alive the memory of the great Paco Rabal and, on the other, to bring the theater closer to the public by betting on the representation of works of great quality at popular prices. "
The contest will continue on Saturday with the work Retrato en rojo de Teatro Almadraba.
