The aquiline Marina Cáceres, who recently won the title of runner-up in the kumite world, was received by the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Deportes, Cristóbal Casado.

The young aquiline athlete visited the aquiline consistory with her trainer, María Victoria Cáceres, and five other karatecas from Club Nintai, all of them qualified for the Spanish Championship to be held in Santiago de Compostela on November 17 and 18.

Marina Cáceres: Sub-World Champion Sub21 and Bronze Mediterranean Championship.

Alberto Salas: Bronze regional cadet.

Hugo Burguillos: Silver regional cadet.

Alba Zabala: Regional cadet champion.

Asier Peón: Junior regional champion.
