The Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment, offers tomorrow (9:00 pm) the second of the eight concerts that the training will give, until June, within the Pro Música de Águilas season, at the Infanta Elena Auditorium in the town.
The director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts, Marta López-Briones, reported that "this week our orchestra returns to Águilas, where an indispensable gap has already been made within the cultural panorama of the city, that the receives each season with great gauging data in each of their performances. "
Under the baton of its owner, Virginia Martínez, the regional Symphony will offer a Viennese program that will begin with the interpretation of the overture 'Rosamunda', one of the last works composed by Franz Schubert.
Next, and with the presence of the young Japanese pianist Aya Sakamoto, the musicians will play Mozart's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 23.
To end the evening with the last symphony, number 41, by Mozart.
The work, which was not released during the author's lifetime, was called 'Jupiter' because of its triumphant and solemn character.
