More than three hundred people joined yesterday the Solidarity March organized by the Local Board of the AECC;
an event that, assured from the association, passes through the streets of the town without competitive spirit and with a smooth route so that they can participate from children to adults.
During the ceremony, the president of the association, Magdalena Ros, and the local mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, thanked all the participants for their collaboration in an activity that seeks, mainly, to raise funds for the investigation of this disease.
The Spanish Association Against Cancer is a non-profit organization founded in Madrid in 1963. During all this time it has been a pioneer in the help of people with cancer and their families.
Its mission is to raise awareness and inform society about this disease.
It also accompanies and supports the sick and their families.
Its third pillar is research support, devoting much of its budget to finding new ways to prevent and fight cancer.
