Under the premise that "art has no fixed form or support in which to appear" - as declared by the mayor of Culture, Lucía Hernández - the first edition of the Artists in T-shirt contest was recently presented, organized by the Museum of T-shirts in collaboration with the Department of Culture.
The contest serves to complete the charity exhibition of the same name that will celebrate its second edition next May.
The objective of the contest, pointed out from the organization, is "to promote art and artists, we do not seek in this contest the classic designs that usually appear in these garments, what we seek is art with capital letters, we want designs that fall in love, be original, that contain soul and poetry, in short, that they be carriers of the essence of The Museum of T-shirts ".
The participants, who will be able to present their works until March 15, will be eligible for four prizes of 600, 400, 200 and 100 euros.
