Under the title Education and Training against gender violence, the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users Virgen de los Dolores recently organized, with the collaboration of the Department of Equality, an interesting round table in which the mayor of the locality, Mari Carmen Moreno;
the mayor of Equality, Isabel María Torrente;
the general director of Women, Alicia Barquero;
the counselor of the IES Europe, Inmaculada Vidal;
the psychologist of the association I want to grow, Visitación Fernández;
and the doctor of Information Sciences Emilio Tomás.
For almost two hours the speakers addressed issues related to the terrible scourge of abuse and the way in which it affects children and adolescents, also making them victims not only because they are witnesses of this violence but because they live in it.
