The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Health, Rosalía Casado, have described as "very fruitful" the meeting held this morning with the manager of the Murcian Health Service, Asensio López.
After the meeting, the first mayor has shown his satisfaction to know that the Murcia Health Service has given the go-ahead to one of the lands that the City Council made available to the Ministry for the future construction of the High Resolution Hospital Center.
As indicated from the Ministry would be the plot of 10,000 meters, located in the urbanization La Loma II, the most viable for the construction of the much sought after center.
In this sense, the head of the Aguileño Executive has been quite optimistic, although she has insisted on the fact that, despite the advanced state of the negotiations, "the real intentions will be reflected in the regional budgets of the year 2018. Only when these are contemplate a specific item endowed with sufficient budget so that the works can begin. It will be clear that for the Regional Government there is really an intention to carry out the long-awaited High Resolution Hospital Center ".
Likewise, and as it already happened in all the meetings held during these two years of the legislature, Moreno has once again insisted before López on the need to give a solution to the very great deficiencies that Águilas presents in health matters;
"a palpable reality and that is demonstrated by the fact that the demand for construction of the High Resolution Hospital Center is a common feeling of all aquilines regardless of political colors and proof of this is the existence of a Monitoring Committee composed of representatives of all the political parties with implantation in the municipality, members of the associative fabric of the locality and independent sanitary technicians ".
