Last Friday, the councilors of Equality and Education, Isabel María Torrente and Cristóbal Casado, handed out the diplomas to the short films in advertising format winners of the "Short with violence" contest, in which students from the educational centers participated. IES King Carlos III, IES Alfonso Escámez, IES Europe and Carlos V, organized by the Municipal Center for Women-Cavi of Águilas City Council, on the occasion of the commemoration of the International Day for the elimination of violence against women.
During the event, the participation of all students was acknowledged and they were given a ticket to the cinema in recognition of the work done, in addition to announcing a novelty for the next edition, which will include a poster contest announcing each edition .
This year two categories of participation have been established, Category I, which includes students in the second cycle of secondary school, basic training and middle-level training, in which they have participated and another one called Category II, for bachelor and higher education .

For Category I, with the participation of 3 groups:
First prize: "The Story of Martina" made by students of the Carlos V School, María Moreno, Ana Azor, Nerea Soler, María José López, Lucía Fernández, Ana Quintana and Silvia Mancebo.
Second Prize: "Raise the head of the princess, life is not a fairy tale" by students of the Carlos V School, Mari Carmen Lorenzo, Miriam Santiago, Marina Hernández, Jocelyn León, Kevin Neuville, Mónica Martínez, Andrea García, Natalia Meca and Miriam Minet.
For Category II, with the participation of 26 groups:
First prize: "Iguálate" made by IES Europe students, Javier López, Ana Terrones, Jesús Sáez, Miguel Ángel Terrones, Pedro Segado, Nuria Ortega, Daniel Valera and David Ángel Cervantes.
Second Prize: "Que no te aten" by students from IES Europe, Benjamín Leiva, Cristina Coronado, David Magdaleno, Belén García, Cristina Minet, Antonio Vico.
