For the third consecutive year the characters of the Carnival together with the Children's Siren were in charge of illuminating Christmas with the symbolic act of lighting that took place last Tuesday and brought together a large number of people in the popular Roundabout.
Regarding the novelties of this year it should be noted that the number of installed arcs has been significantly expanded, specifically 150, and that these have reached areas of the municipality and districts that usually did not.
Also, and what is more important, despite this expansion, energy consumption will be reduced by 30%, which means a much more sustainable Christmas and committed to the environment.
To all this we must add four large luminous firs that have been installed in the Plaza de Espaa, the Placetn, Paseo Parra and Las Yucas.
As regards the Christmas setting to the arches and luminous figures, we must add the ornaments in palm trees and the planting of 1,500 flowers of Easter, 500 more than last year.
