The Parradboleros, Estrella de Levante and the restaurant La Máquina de Lugones were the winners of "Les Fabes de Oro 2017";

a recognition that Casa Menéndez restaurant gives each year within the culinary days of this unique product of the Principality.

These recognitions usually have as recipients people, entities or groups that have expressed concern, effort and concern to help society in cultural, welfare, training, employment, sports or any other order as well as promote the rapprochement between the Region of Murcia and the Principality of Asturias.

The gastronomic event, which was attended by the mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, was enlivened, as usual, by the bagpipe band Mozos del Convento de Lorca.
