The Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users Virgen de los Dolores celebrated yesterday its traditional Christmas cooking course;
an event organized by the association, with the collaboration of the Department of Consumption, which on this occasion reached the XXII edition.
The event, one of the most multitudinous of those organized by this association, had the presence of 125 members and partners who, following the instructions of the head chef of the hotel Puerto Deportivo Juan Montiel, Juan Pedro Espinosa, learned to develop a very appropriate menu for the upcoming Christmas dates.
Shrimp ceviche with green apple, mango and ginger;
sea ​​bass mousse with shrimp;
sirloin medallion, red lentil spiral, potato cylinder in chorizo ​​alioli crust;
Iberian pen glazed with orange and parmentier and Christmas trunk with mascarpone and lime were some of the dishes that were prepared.
The mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno along with the councilors of Consumer Affairs and Commerce, Isabel María Torrente and Encarna Navarro, were responsible for delivering, after dinner, the many gifts drawn.
